Gas Safety Certificates

  • About our Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) service

    We provide a Gas Safety Certificate for £75.00 + vat, based on properties in the South Wales area.


    This includes:

    • Digitally Accessible Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) PDF Version sent via email.
    • We keep back-ups of all cp12’s for 12 months and can re-send at any time free of charge.
    • Annual reminders sent each year. (Annual gas safety reminders are sent 2-3 weeks before the renewal date, via email, text and a letter.)

    This excludes

    • Please note if there is a gas fire in the property this will need inspection to ensure it is safe to use, which is excluded in the costs of the gas safety certificate. If there is a gas fire in the property there will be an additional charge of £65.00 + vat per fire.
    • Boiler service record

    Engineers work 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday.


    Exact time of inspection will be confirmed after booking.


  • Engineer availability

    This is dependent on engineer availability at time of calling. We will confirm availability when you call.


  • Which appliances do you provide Gas Safety Certificate for?

    We provide Gas Safety Certificates for all gas appliances e.g. 

    • Meter
    • Gas boiler (excluding back boilers)
    • Gas hob/oven/cooker
    • Gas fire (additonal costs apply)

    Please note if there is a gas fire in the property, there would be an additional charge of £65.00 + vat to inspect and service the gas fire.  

  • Does a gas safety certificate include a boiler service?

    No. But we can carry out a boiler service at the same time for a combined cost £120.00 + vat

  • Terms & Conditions

    * The prices above does not include a back boiler and fire service, please email us for a quotation if you have a back boiler in place


    * The price of a service/gas safety/legionella check does not include any parts needed for any rectification works that may arise on a service


    * If there is an issue with the heat exchanger that becomes apparent on the service, this would involve a seal kit which we would then quote on separately to the initial service


    *All additional works/parts will be quoted on before anything is carried out


    *If the boiler/appliances are found to be unsafe we will isolate the boiler issue a warning notice, advise on the necessary works required to rectify the issue. There will still be a charge for this £75.00 + vat

Legionella Risk Assessments

Landlords of residential/domestic type accommodation (housing, flats etc) have legal responsibilities for combating and preventing legionnaires disease. Health and safety legislation requires that landlord's carry out legionella risk assessments for the legionella bacteria which causes the potentially fatal legionnaires' disease.

 

Most Domestic rented premises' will be low risk but as it is a potentially fatal pneumonia type disease it is important that you risk assess your rented residential premises.

Our price for domestic properties are set at fixed prices, which are set out below to leave you with peace of mind and no hidden charges when the invoice comes in.

 

We can even organise the access of carrying out the legionella risk assessment with the tenants. Taking the stress of organising access away from the landlord.

  • What exactly do you inspect?

    In our domestic landlords/homeowners legionella assessments, we inspect:

    • Boiler and tanks (if applicable)
    • Shower heads and all outlets inspected
    • Temperature recording of all outlets

  • Is a gas safety certificate included?

    A gas safety certificate is not included within the price. But when carrying out a gas safety certificate & boiler service at the same time, this would cost a combined price of £120.00 + vat
